Yo!

Problematic Place - STAY AWAY

I lived there for SEVERAL years right when the complex was built and from reading here...it doesnt seem ANYTHING has changed whatsoever. When I lived there...the Head Maintenance man got drunk at a company thrown party...drove the company truck around the complex racing another employee at like 60 - 70 mph and slid into about four cars, one including my Jeep. I can tell you that they not only didnt fire the maintenance man...he was like sheltered from the whole incident and they did JACK to help us with fixing our cars other than tell us to deal with it. When contacting the office....they referred you to some main office in Chicago or something that wanted NOTHING to do with it. Eventually I got their insurance company to pay for some of the damages...but it was like pulling teeth. You would think that since it was THEIR DRUNK maintenance man and THEIR party they would have taken care of it lickety split....but fact is....they truely didnt care and eventually were told to not even speak of it to anybody and we were all passed off onto some Chicago office that was of NO help whatsoever.

Oh...forgot the best part.....after the maintenance man hit all these cars and took off....the cops came and started chasing him around at which time he took the truck back to the office and started out on foot fleeing thoughout the complex. He literally climbed up balconies, and eventually broke though some ladies screen door (her sliding door was open) and ran through her apartment to escape capture by the police. This lasted like hours on end...until they eventually caught up with him in a foot chase and he DOVE INTO THE POND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COMPLEX AND SWAM OUT TO THE MIDDLE and started yelling he was going to kill himself as the office staff sat and cried sweet nothings to him and the police boated around trying to fish him out. Well....eventually they got his ass out of the pond....at like past midnight or something. And this whole incident started right at dusk if that tells you anything. It was a complete JOKE and a definate sign of how this complex is run from the top down. Unprofessional and too clique-ish. I literally had to look at this maintenance guy driving around after that incident, still as head maintenance for the facility and from what I could see....nobdoy got screwed except for their clients.

Trust me when I tell you....this place leaves a LOT to be desired. And as previously mentioned....it is a bit...well...WAY overpriced. I was the first person that lived in the apt I moved into that was ground floor and while at the time the apt was nice...IT WAS ULTRA SMALL!!

Also while I lived there....my next door neighbor tried to pull a knife on me (dude was crazy...literally....his mom filed him away in that complex and they let him until he did that) and my car got broken into twice (two different cars). The place was a complete JOKE so far as professionalism goes.
