where do I even begin. the maintenance people come into my apartment don't take their shoes off andstain my carpet. I tried to contact the main office and they would not do anything about it!! the new management decided it was time to remodel the apartments even though everything is fine. so right now every day there are inconveniences to the tenants. on any given day you either have to move your vehicle by 8 am for 24 hours (or else they tow it at your expense!) or they have to power spray your building so if you don't move everything out of your porch and balcony they will go ahead and damage it. meanwhile the roads have been uneven and dirty. construction trucks are taking up all the space and they even shut down half of the parking lots so there's no place to park when I come home after work! also management's way of communicating the major changes is god awful. they would post a notice at night saying you better move everything out of your porch by that same morning or they will power spray it!! how can I do something that occuredd in the past'! it's these ridiculous things management does that makes living here a hassle.

I also live in Lakeshore and I think that it is wonderful that they are remodeling to make it more comfortable and scenic for their tennants. Unfortnatley, with any project, management will require the cooperation of the tennants until it is complete. One of those things where you have to put up with the rain to get a rainbow. Now that the parking lot is done, it is much nicer and smoother, not to mention it looks prettier. I don't mind being inconvienced for a couple days to have a better product in the end. I think everyone just needs to learn some patience. Also, I thought the way they communicated was just fine. They posted new signs in each building almost daily. Taking the time to call each tennant would be very timeconsuming.

I've also lived here for over 3 years and have been through two re-pavings including this recent renovation. I agree with the other response completely. The re-paving was only a very short process and yes you obviously have to move your car for them to do that. Now it's beautiful here and the roads are smooth. The new management has been doing a LOT of changes to the grounds here lately which has required some adjusting but they're almost done and everything looks a lot nicer. By the way, do you seriously expect maintenance to take off their shoes? If that's one of your complaints about this place I'll take that over some others any day. Would you like them to dust off your furniture while they're there too? They do an excellent job.

Are you serious, you must work for Lakeshore. If you think it is more important to make the apartment complex look better then to protect their tenants from crime and break in???s then you are delirious. I think Lakeshore apts. should spend a little more time and money on protecting their community then making their apartment complex look like it is a safe place to live

I have worked in leasing for 3 years on a property on the Eastside of Indianapolis, and remodeling units can be an investment that brings more renters and more money for the community. With more money, more goes back into the complex. As for security, we have done cameras, security officer, and etc but you still have crime. The cameras are not going to tell you the name of the person who broke into your car therefore why would they stop someone from doing that. Not to mention cameras sometimes do not get good images, so they can be completely useless. I suggest you take percautions to protect yourself and family, because if communities on the Northside of Indy can be hit, anywhere can! Also, do not leave stuff out in your cars or windows where people can see it. Do not make yourself an easy target.
