Ok, I use to work at Lake Nora for a little over a year so what I speak is totally the truth. First off yes they have their problems but I've been in the business for five years and not one apt. community I worked for didn't have issues. Your always going to have those few residents that didn't get their way and now are trying to pay them back by putting bad ratings on here. The truth is those people who are giving the bad ratings probably were the ones eveicted for non payment, noise or any other lease violation. So dont always believe what you read! And also know that if anyone has the right to talk bad about them it should be me, but the truth is I only have one issue with Lake Nora and that's someone who residents never see. Jessica that property manager does her best to please everyone and make them feel as safe and at home as possible. I've seen it with my own two eyes the type of manager she is and honestly Lake Nora couldn't ask for a better person for the job. Yes the buildings need some repair but by no means is the place falling apart. You could find things that needs fixed on a brand new place. It will always be that way. The maintenance staff is great I worked with all of them for a long time. They will get the job done!! the prices are great you get a huge apt., great setup for a reasonable price. the location is wonderful your close to everything you could ever need. They constantly are having resident functions to show their appreciation for their business. Believe me they wouldn't put their time and effort into something if they honestly wasnt trying to do what's right. They are all good people and dont deserve some of the things said about them. I also lived at lake nora and i can honestly say that has been my favorite place to live EVER!! My apt was huge two baths lake view great setup it was definetly home to me and my daughter and my two dogs that they allowed. Overall lake nora isnt no way near as bad as these salty residents have proclaimed. I definetly recommend anyone to live there. Just stop by they are constantly having great specials/deals, the office staff is great/ friendly and you will see all the wonderful amenities and fun things they offer. And one last comment about the handicap residents that are there. I can honestly say they are completely harmless and they all have hearts of gold, they make great friends too thats speaking from experience. And all those people that put them down should be ashamed of themselves and will have to deal with being completely heartless in their lifetime. Bottom line is i miss living and working there, and MOST DEFINETELY recommend it to anyone!

They have great deals and specials for a reason - they're trying to sucker people in to moving there. If it was so great, why did you leave? By the way, I have worked with "handicap" people for 9 years - they don't all have "hearts of gold." Some of the disabled people with whom I worked were violent and/or criminally ill. Schizophrenia, socio- and psychpathology isn't sweet. A great deal of Indianapolis' mentally ill population used to be institutionalized, but they closed down our largest one in 1993; hence, these guys are in supported living programs and receive state funding like Section 8. So they go where that sort of funding is accepted. Don't give me this flowery stuff about how all mentally retarded people are harmless. I had one shove me through a glass patio door because he was caught fondling an 8 year-old girl.
