I was not impressed with the office staff, maintenance staff, resident co-op board, security, or the management company.

The rules were not equally enforced. They protected the residents that they liked and screwed with the ones they didn't like. They did nothing about parking problems. The resident co-op board has ALWAYS been occupied by their friends. The rules are made and changed to accommodate their wants and needs.

Criminal activity is rampant and they do nothing about it. They have guards who drive around and only harrass the good people. I had heard stories that would make you wonder why these guards still work there!!! There was a sex offender living there and I asked the security guard about it and they said the office knew about but wouldn't do anything about it. These apartments are right across the street from an elementary school.

Maintenance sucked. They were so lazy that they would leave a furnace filter inside my security door instead of entering the apartment and installing it! I heard that some of the maintenance guys had records and you would not want them in your apartment. You have to provide your own salt for snowy steps and sidewalks.

There is no swimming pool or basketball court and the security guards mess with you if you sit in front of your own apartment or they say they are stopping you because you are suspicious if you sit in your car for too long. You better not back your car in either. That is a cardinal no-no!

And to top it off, they DO NOT return your security deposit no matter what. I don't even think that is legal!!!

Its a Co-op, if they read their Occupancy Agreement, they would know why they are charged fees when they move out if they don't paint and clean their own unit. Sex offenders are not living there, check the website. Sitting on the front steps or in your car is suspicous, they will check you out, thats what security does. Background checks are done on all maintenance men, and yes, the rules state you should have your own ice melt to help yourself out. They are not your slaves, just try to help in snowy situations. They start their snow removal at 5:00 a.m.

This apartment complex truly SUCKS! I lived there for one year. When I moved in I had no hot water in the downstairs bathroom. I called 7 times and I still had no hot water when I moved out!!! I would have to call 4-5 times to get ANYTHING fixed. The staff was rude and didn't care about residents.
