LL is what it is- an older, lower rent complex on the Northside. I enjoyed the convenience of the location and the lovely trees and shade. And I have never had problems with maintenance. I put up with the inadequate lighting, noisy plumbing,
parking problems, barely painted over drywall, ugly carpet, etc because I wasn't paying for a "nice" apt complex. A couple years ago when the new management team came in it stopped being a nice place to live. Another reviewer mentioned they said salt wasn't in the budget. This was the kind of ridiculous excuse we were given for everything. You don't want to hear their excuse for not having a life guard much of the time the last 2-3 years. Broken down vehicles were rarely ticketed. When my rent went up by $65. last year, I decided I should get more for my money. The new office staff seems nice but the old manager was just kicked upstairs so don't look for any changes.
