The staff is incompetent.

My family lived in Lakewood Lodge for approximately three months. We sold our home and was having a new home built.
My first impression of the staff was that they were incompetent. I had called and inquired as to when the office would be closed, I had plenty of time to get there. When I arrived at the office, with 30 minutes to spare, the office was closed. We signed a three month lease. The office sent us a notice in December informing us that our lease would expire in January, I immediately called the office and left a message stating that we were moving and if I needed to do something else, please call me. I never received a phone call. In January, when I went to turn in my key, the office staff informs me that I did not inform them in writing that I would be moving when my lease was up. According to our lease agreement, we are only responsible for a portion of the months rent because we did not inform them we were moving. These clowns are now trying to sue us for an amount well over the amount of our three month rent. The office staff is incompetent. I believe a if common courtesy would have prevailed, such as a return phone call this whole mess could have been avoided.
