Years at this apartment: 1996 - 2000
When I lived there it was cheap compared with others in the area. Granted it was an older complex and signs of aging were starting to show. Nonetheless, for guys fresh out of college who were accustomed to the squalor of college rentals, the place seemed like a palace.
Lived in a 3 bedroom for a couple years and a 2 bedroom for a couple years. Normal level of appliance maintenance, pest control, etc. needed. Not a top notch complex by any means, but it's across the street from a 24-hr grocery store and walking distance from several restaurants, a mall, a movie theater, and a long walk to a popular section of clubs/bars. I recommend it to anyone moving to Indy for the first time. If you want new, top notch abodes, though, look elsewhere.
