After reading some reviews, I thought it would be good to offer my thoughts on Lakewood Lodge. I've lived here for a long time. In that time, I've lived in two apartments.

The simple truth is, this is a nice place to live.

Don't get me wrong, maintainance is slow and the office staff has a "we don't live here so, whatever" attitude. But, with nice grounds, decent apartments, a great location, and Washington Township schools; its hard to say this isn't a good place.

Here's an important note, this is a diverse community. If you aren't comfortable with multicultural urban life, you probably won't like it here. I honestly think most of the "safety" concerns come from people who are uncomfortable with this community's diversity.
