We lived here from April 2007-April 2008, and although we loved everything about our apartment (layout, structures, location, ponds, etc.) we could not HATE the management or the sales staff any more! It all started when we secured the apartment we wanted in Feb. 07 and came in April to do a walkthrough of the apartment to look for defects and problems.. the place was filthy, lightbulbs were burnt out, and the carpets needed a thorough shampoo - no big deal, since we were told that the cleaning crew hadn't been in to clean it yet. We came back a week later to sign our lease; our salesperson "forgot we were coming in" and didn't draft the lease, so she made us wait for over an hour while she did it! Then we went over to the apartment and found that NOTHING had been cleaned, no lightbulbs changed.. there were popcorn kernels all over the floor that I hadn't seen the first time! We demanded that they clean it immediately.. it was finally cleaned 2 days later.
We were told by our leasing agent that we were only responsible for the pro-rated rent at the lease signing because we were moving in at the end of April, so we budgeted only for about $150 that she told us we'd need. We get to the lease signing and she says "oops, I counted days wrong, you're responsible for all of next month's rent too". We were furious, but wrote a check and specifically told her the funds wouldn't be in the account until Friday morning (it was a Wed. night) and post-dated the check. She ---ured us it wouldn't go to the bank until Friday - but then they cashed it THE SAME NIGHT. So we bounced a $1000 dollar check all because her ------ --- "forgot to put a note on it" as she said.
We were told that you can't use any other cable service than the one Edward Rose provides ($70 for basic TV only - a ripoff) and we started out using it, only to NEVER have it work. They charged us a $250 install fee and the install was handing us the box and telling us to hook it up. Every time I went to the office to complain, they would type on their little computers and say "it's fixed!" and of course it still wouldn't work. They told us they "didn't have anyone they could send" to fix it.. so we finally argued with them until they canceled it and removed it from the lease. That took almost 2 months.
Finally, we were ready to move out, so we went to check with the office and make sure of our notice to vacate date. The 1st girl laughed and said "I have no idea" without looking it up, the 2nd girl told us "just whatever date is 60 days before your move-out date" and the 3rd girl just said "it doesn't even matter, just tell us you're moving". Mind you that they have changed the entire office staff, including property manager, 3 TIMES since we lived there.
Upon surrendering our keys, the girl at the desk asked my husband if we'd scheduled a walkthrough inspection. He said no, and asked if we needed one. She responded with "ummm, I don't know, I mean I guess not. You're fine!" to which he told her that if we had any charges (there isn't any reason for us to), to shove them up her ---.

It's a great place to live if you can deal with people who have no concern for residents and have the ------------. Seriously, these are the ------est people I've ever met. No wonder they all got fired after about 2 months of screwing up people's leases! Edward Rose also promised to pay our overdraft fee from our account for their employee's mistake, but of course that never happened.

I have to say that you have had a bad experience. I am very sorry for that. I, however, seem to have no problems with this place so far. Granted I have only lived here for a few weeks, but my roomate has live here for several months and he has had no problems with anyone. Yes there may be some stuff that comes up but nothing serious for me yet. I love the community here. It is a nice place to live. Definitely better than the other apartment i was living in at Brookwood. Just like little mexico there. And that is being nice.

DC you should give it more than a few weeks before you say anything about the place.. trust me, you will end up hating it just as much as everyone else. ---- LATITUDES! HOPE IT BURNS DOWN!

I've had a huge problem with this place, too many issues to mention. I just moved out after two and a half years, and they are trying to charge me an additional 1000$ for replacing stuff that is surely their fault (carpet flooded from above, but they want me to fix it). I suggest that NO ONE live here. Ever.
