DON'T RENT HERE

I signed a 10 month lease at Latitudes and it was quite a mistake. They are very nice up through the showing process and signing the lease. After that, you are treated like an inconvenience anytime you have a question or a problem. I had to call them at least 10 times because my garage door would not open. They would come and get it open, but never actually fixed it. I lived on the 2nd floor and could hear the person above me going to the bathroom at night. The apartment was dirty when I moved in and I had to scrub it myself. There is a constant change of leasing office employees, so it makes you wonder what goes on behind the scenes. When it came time to get my security deposit of $419 back, I was charged $60 for a cracked crisper drawer in the refrigerator and another $30 for two quarter size stains on the carpet. I was also charged $160 for a cable box that was left on the counter of my apartment upon moving out. I have argued with the leasing office as well as the corporate office, but just keep getting the run around. It took over a week to get someone on the phone regarding my issue only to be told that they would "look into it"...I do not expect to hear a response back from them. Do not be deceived by the nice appearance of these apartments. Take your money and business else where!
