A random fee 6 months after I move out

I moved out over 6 months ago, and today I got my mail and much to my surprise I had a random 20 dollar outstanding bill. When I called the office no one had any idea what it was for, and I was told the best thing to do is just pay it. I know $20 is nothing in the grand scheme of things, and I am going to pay it after I get off work, but how can a business send you a bill over 6 months after you cut ties. Watch these people, they are going to nickel and dime everything they can. BUY A HOME!!!! I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!!!!

If you call and speak with our account manager she will be happy to explain why you were charged the fees. Since many of our residents can move in with no security deposit with approved credit, you don't have something that covers any damages or rent owed upon move-out. Therefore, the time requirement on how soon we send you an invoice is extended. Since our move-outs must be processed by our central office for all of our properties it may take a little longer than normal to receive a bill. We apologize if this created any inconvenience and you can make payment arrangements if needed. Congratulations on your new home! We are here to help,if you would like to call us at (317) 865-9805.

^^ The above comment was obviously posted by the stupid ---- manager, -------. She is the most idiotic, scatterbrained, LIAR that I have ever met! They will nickel and dime you because they can and you can't prove anything. Their employees lied to my husband and I for 12 MONTHS and we were stuck! Guess why we can't prove anything? BECAUSE YOU CHANGE EMPLOYEES EVERY MONTH! You must be the --------- place to work when your residents hate you, you don't know how to return an email or phone call, and you change staff every 2 months. My guess is those damages were caused purposely by your stupid ---- employees AFTER this person moved out, your ---------- employees didn't even clean our apartment before we moved in and got hard candies stuck to the carpet! (which WEREN'T THERE when we did the 1st visit before move-in) YOU SUCK AT YOUR JOB AND SO DOES -----------!!!!
