How do you get TiVo at Latitudes Apartments' I came from a home where I had Comcast and could tape two programs at once. The Dish Cable at Latitudes Apartments is so antiquated you have to wonder who in the world is looking after the marketing of the apartments.

I have managed hotels for years and still do and there is no way our hotel would get by with this antiquated cable system.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get TiVo without a land line phone, please advise.

I also have a garage and it takes at least 8 times to try to get it to close. The Maintenance Staff have not been able to program the outside keypad with my code yet. Evidently they don't have the direction book.

The office staff had one member that was very helpful. Evidently, she has left. The last time I stopped by the office it was a joke. There was a water sprinkler break and for two weeks the break was watering the parking lot. I stopped by to let them know and the man in the office said they were watering new sod. CALL ME STUPID. I manage a hotel, I know when an inground sprinkler has a leak - and I have never heard of new sod being planted on pavement. I also let them know that for 6 weeks a moved out garage door was open and it really did not look inviting to encourage new renters. He told me they are working on the garage door. Maintenance - 6 weeks - makes me want to sign a lease for another year - no wonder they can't get my garage door to shut with the remote.

Back to TiVo - please, please, does anyone have any idea how to get it to work'

don't ask the people in the office to fix it - they don't hae a damn clue! when I cancelled my service they tried to say that I had to call the company directly and it took me 3 days to find out through the cable company that you had to go through the front office of the apt. complex to do it! nobody there knows what the hell they're doing. the maintenance guys are dirty old perverts that love to sit around and stare at chicks, that's why they get nothing done! the manager is also a dumb -----, don't recommend even wasting your breath attempting a conversation with that idiot -----!

I have a Tivo with the cable system here. So far no problems with the outdated cable box they provide us with.

Oh, the HD and DVR may be here FINALLY after two years of promises, but you get charged out the a-- for it! Oh, and it comes with it's share of problems too! Goes out all the time and no one knows how to fix it!
