paying for location, not quality

If Lockefield Gardens wasn't located where it is, I can guarantee you they would have to knock at least a couple hundred off of their rent. You're just paying for location. Here are my qualms about the apartments:

-The bathrooms were filthy when we moved in. There was soap scum and rust all over the tub, hair inside the medicine cabinet, and the grout in between the floor tiles has turned a grey from its natural white.
-We have a terrible bug problem. There are constantly huge garden ants scurrying about.
-The windows are not insulated. We would sometimes have frost forming on the inside of the windows.
-The carpet was worn down and there was drops of paint on it all around the base boards.
-The dishwasher leaves residue all over the dishes.
-The trash compactor doesn't work and is just a waste of space.
-The ceiling panels in the kitchen are always shattering and falling down.
-The ceiling above the refridgerator leaks.
-Half of the electrical outlets didn't work.
-We don't have screens in some of our windows.
-One pane of the interior sliding glass of the window had come completely off it's track and was just left sitting there proped up against the window.
-There have been multiple car break ins, including both of my roommates, in the complex and the management has done nothing. I'm just sitting around waiting for my car's turn.
-Parking is kind of a pain because you are only allowed 2 passes per apartment and there is 3 of us. We had to buy a carport for $30 a month. There is also no parking in the evening, I have resorted to parking on the side of the street.
-The decor is just very unaesthetic. Grey carpet with white tile bathrooms, a yellow brown design tile in the kitchen, a wood floor entrance, and yellow cabinets with brown borders.

We have a townhome in the older buildings, so I'm not sure what the newer buildings hold.
