I lived in Lockefield gardens for about 2 years while attending IUPUI. For starters the apartments are filthy with bugs throughout. I was lucky enough to get an apartment right by the community dumpster - which was always overflowing with trash because office staff couldn't pick it up in time. The office staff at this location turn over so fast that it is nearly impossible to get anything accomplished that will take more than a couple weeks. In addition to the turnover the staff are the most unfriendly, unhelpful people I have ever met. They don't care about the residents that live there, but instead the rent checks that they deposit. Since I lived in the community there were 2 holdups, 4 cars broken into and an apartment that was robbed as well. It might be safer if they had more lighting and a security guard who actually patrolled. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THERE ARE CLEANER AND CHEAPER PLACES OUT THERE!
