We lived at Mann Village for about 4 years. Apartments are small. Having a washer/dryer connection in unit is great. Bathrooms are good size. The playground is old and doesn't appear safe for children. Parking issues depend on your neighbors and office staff doesn't get involved if you are having trouble parking near your apartment. It is "suggested" that you only park one vehicle directly in front of your apartment and if you have any others, use overflow parking. We have had vehicles broken into while living here. Maintenance is awful. After having them come to fix problems we've had and then having to call back to have it redone I have resorted to fixing on my own. It seems like they are in your apartment a lot, changing filters, etc. Dumpster areas are disgusting, with trash blowing everywhere. Almost every day in the summer there are people going through the trash looking for treasures I guess. This isn't the best area. We stayed at Mann Village for so long because of the personal entry and one story floor plan. It is nearly impossible to find that for such a cheap price. So, we were willing to sacrifice some. The grounds are well kept, other than the trash, which seemed to be a problem more toward the end of our stay. Noise can be an issue depending on neighbors and management doesn't get involved. I was told to call the police whenever it was too noisy. Manager isn't very friendly, but we could tell that when we moved in. She just doesn't have a friendly personality. Luckily, we didn't have to deal with her much, but I know others that had problems.
