The Marott is a stunning place to live in.

It does have good and bad points.

Good:
Excellent amenities
Excellent leasing staff
Excellent pool and work out area
Easy access to downtown without paying thousands of dollars a month to live downtown
Gated parking and video cameras
24 hour security
Beautiful chandeliers, high ceilings, new carpeting every year (or alteast a free carpet cleaning once a year) and plenty of space to live in your abode
Plenty of privacy

Bad:
Elevators that break down atleast 3-5 times a year (supposedly a new Elevator system is being put in this year)
Occasional false fire alarms
Hoaglin Catering shares the building and lets wedding/event parking take up to 50% of the gated parking during the day (until 6 p.m. when the gates are closed)
Occasional car break ins ( I haven't had my car broken into yet -- I always park in the front two rows close to the security cameras)

Overall, I've lived at the Marott for almost two years and I have had a great experience here. I would highly recommend living here, but would advise visiting the premises first before signing a lease. The leasing office is always willing to give a tour of the place in addition to showing you what the apartments will look like.
