1) the staff is nice but they don't give two shits if your apartment has been fixed or not. I have placed work order after work order with both office and the maintenance staff. The maintenance crew give you smart ass answer . Have ass fix things for 900 a month tape doesn't work for me. my windows leak air my house is freezing in the winter.

2) FU**ing parking is a joke. you pay a grand a month for some appliances and maybe be - able to park under the camera for a change. Fu** the catering company. They have one day guest that get treated better than us. I walked through one to get my mail and was told i am not supposed to be walking through there. Then they started room service COOL but prices was a joke. after paying for it you cant afford to do laundry. The staff plays favorites . Chris works hard but wont admit to his company screwing have the people who live here . The manager puts on a smile then cant give you a answer till she talks to someone who knows it . Oh and try to complain and i bet you will here from people you are getting kicked out. Its happen to me 2 times.

3) The security people . Except for one or two its pointless. one ties up the phone for a 8 hr shift and the others are never there . you have a lady and seniors trying to protect us . Hope they brought there Jaretol . My S.U.V. has been hit more than Mike Tyson's face. Cant seem to catch them at all can we Tim. The gates on the out side are never closed so if they tell you the people who come to an event are gone by 6 like one of the good comments, come here any Friday or Saturday and see for yourself. We mean nothing to these people .

4) My garbage disposal breaks weekly and bathroom cabinets don't close. My personal belief is don't move in unless you glut for punishment. The pool hardly works they erased the Marott emblem because they are cheap ,its never open anyways if they have a 2 week fix in the summer seemed for the last three years its been down for 2 to 3 months at least . The work out room is too cold and causes muscle cramps and the exercise machines never seem to work properly . Then you got some ass hole kicking a soccer ball at you . People having sex in pool hot tub and sauna . " heard that from the staff them selves".

5) There are some good things here too . Its clean , people cant just come to your house . ( mostly because the elevator never works properly. breaks down 3 to 4 times a year )they have started a coffee shop and a computer lab. But if you dont drink coffee or tea dosen't really help .2 computers for 300 people . For the most part its clean and near downtown and has some nice things inside it . Just poorly managed and Mr Van Roy doen't really interact with his tenets . I have complained to the office so many times about things i feel like they would try to kick me out rather than help. That hurts because you want to be that good neighbor . So this place sucks because they will pretty much push you out and make you feel like your the problem or all the things i listed . Hell there was a guy on my floor who's toilet leaked so long he called his own plummer . They never even offered to pay him back. ask him he lives in 1103

This person has obviously never lived in a high rise community! Mr.Vanrooy personally greeting everyone of his thousands upon thousands of residents, c'mon give the guy a break! Try a zender property see if you ever meet mr.Zender!!I have lived at the marott four going on 4 years now and have never had any problem w/ management, office, or maintenance staff! Four years and no complaints! I feel like were not living in the same building! A great example of the manager going above and beyond her call of duty: I went out of the state on business for 2 weeks- I came to the office to let them know my mailbox may get full could they hold it for me? I also stated I was having trouble finding someone to take care of my birds and fish- Sarah offered without me even asking! She checked my mail, fed my fish, and birds! It is the things like that, that keeps me here at the Marott! Oh, and the new Coffee Shop is so convenient and a nice way to meet your neighbors!

This person may want to move to a high class hotel and hire some personal assistants in order to be pleased with their living situation. Compared to how most people live in this area this place is by far the nicest, safest, cleanest, friendliest. It makes me sick how spoiled some people are.

I've been here a year and a half and, while some of the things written above have a little merit, it's not anywhere near how it actually is. I don't really talk to anyone in the office, yet I know their names and they not only know my name, but ALWAYS remember my apt number! There are 240 some odd units here... THAT makes me feel like a person and not just a tenant. The only thing that was true- I'm on the 10th floor and had the same issue with my windows. They just put tape on the seams that not only didn't work, but it prevented me from opening them in the summer... Otherwise, this place is pretty great and always updating and changing to make things better for us.
