I have been living at North Haven for a year and am only moving out due to relocation. The rent is higher than you might pay in other apartment complexes, but it is definitely a case where you get what you pay for. The apartments are fairly new, so they are still very clean and modern. It is definitely an apartment that actually feels like a home - which can be hard to find. I love the floorplan of my apartment (2BR/2BA) as well as the nice design elements within. The property is always well-maintained, and the maintenance staff is exceptional.
I'm not sure about the blastings since I'm at work all day, so I've never heard or felt them. I do hear my neighbors from time to time, but it's not frequent - and I expected a bit of that since it is an apartment complex after all.
As for the previous postings regarding one of the girls in the office, I don't drive a $40,000 car, and they have always been extremely helpful and nice. I am rarely in the office, and they always know me by name when I do stop in. I guess I can see how some of the staff might come across as "stuck up," but I have always had a good experience with them and have nothing but great things to say about my experience here.
Basically, if you want a nice apartment in a well-maintained, convenient, quiet and safe property, I don't think you can beat North Haven.
