North Haven Of Carmel
< | >
I lived at North Haven for a year and a half (2007-2008), and liked it very much. Had a 2-bedroom on the second floor with a screened-in balcony. Loved the cupboards and countertops and floorplan/architecture; carpet was a little worn, but that was the only slight detraction. Nice view of the pond with ducks and turtles, quiet neighbors, very friendly and helpful office staff. Loved the walking trail around the lake. There was a quarry right across the road behind out building, but we could barely hear the big equipment, never an issue. Always plenty of parking close by. I always felt safe, even walking across the complex to the fitness room at night. Lots of goose droppings in some parts of the lawns, but not a significant issue. A bit more expensive than some of the area apartments, but nice enough to be worth it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone.
