I actually got on this site to give a review to the community that I live at now and give my former community a favorable rating. I couldn't believe what I was reading with the other two reviews. I lived at Oak Lake for almost three years and moved only due to work situations. I loved my apartment there, and the staff was always fantastic. Maintenance was always done quickly, usually the same day and the office staff was wonderful to my family. They even wrote a welcome to our new baby in the monthly newsletter. We had a large dog and found no one that would accept it. Oak Lake was a great place to have a pet. You might have the occasional pet owner that doesn't pick up, but for the most part, the grounds were beautiful.
I wanted to write this review in defense of Oak Lake. I know it's hard to make everyone happy, but never did I hear any of my neighbors say they had a bad experience either. I truly wish I could still be living there. I really miss Oak Lake and the staff. I was truly spoiled by their service!
