I used to live at Oak Lake. The rent was too high for the apartment I lived in. I had a two bedroom apartment and paid $760 - the apartment was worth about $550. My refrigerator made a constant humming sound, the dishwasher was useless, the microwave was old but worked ok. My washer and dryer was very small and never worked. The wash cylce would finish and the clothes were still wet.

My water heater leaked all through my apartment and no one seemed to care - They did nothing about my furniture that was ruined.

If you have a dog, that's great, because they don't have any resrictions, but no one cleans up after there pets there - so I guess you won't have to clean up after yours either.

My truck was vandalized three times in the year I lived there. I had heard other residents complain about vandalism too.

I have a friend who still lives at the property and she is getting ready to move too. I guess Managment has changed since I lived there - probably a good thing. Managment seem to let about anyone move in based on some of the people I saw

So don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from Oak Lake.
