Once Very Good, Now Not So Good

When I first moved into this complex, it was very clean and safe. However, I have had my car broken into once and my son's car was broken into not once, but twice while parked right outside of the bedroom windows. There are dead trees in front of many apartments that need to be cut down. Curbs need to be put in on several of the streets especially Oakbrook Drive and those horrible railroad ties removed forever. Maintenance is just OK. But I will say that the maintenance staff members that are responsible for removing the snow from the walkways and entryways is SUPERB!!! If we got a 7 inch snowfall, our sidewalk was cleaned completely down to the concrete without any ice. I say BRAVO to that. The office staff is cordial except for one person. There were two major fires there shortly before I moved out. One fire dislocated 12 families and nearly burned the building down. A complete renovation of the apartments and town homes in the older section is needed to make this community compatable with others in this neighborhood with comparable rental rates.
