oaks of eagle creek sucks From: Mofire Date posted: 4/16/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008 2 responses   I agree with everyone that this place looks good, but its not the best place to live. I guess I'll add on to everyone else's stories. I came home one day from as work, as usual, UNLOCKED MY FRONT DOOR, as usual, and I went inside to find that my laptop had been stolen, and there was NO FORCED ENTRY. I called the office to ask if they had let anyone in my apt and they said no. Then I told them that my laptop was gone. Their response was "I'm so sorry to hear that, you do have renter's insurance don't you'" And when I told them that whether I had renter's insurance or not, my belongings should be safe from the staff, they were adament that it was not their staff that stole my laptop, and that it was not their job to conduct an investigation. When I called the police, the officer that came to my house said that the exact same thing happend two doors down from me, and that there was DEFINITELY something going on with the management. Then later on that night, I went to get my digital camera to take some pictures, and it was gone! X-( So for anyone thinking of living here, I would think twice.
