I have lived in various apartments communities in different states and my experience at Overlook is the WORST. The staff is GREAT until you become a tenant.
The actual apt is nice but walls are extremely thin. If you live in a 3 level apt building, you will ALWAYS hear your neighbors going up and down the stairs. I suggest to any potential renter driving through the community on a late Saturday evening before singing your lease. Please be prepared for the trash compactor to always be full and trash left outside piled up!
Should you need to break your lease due to job transfer, do not anticipate the staff working with you or keeping track of your rental payments. Paying online sounds like a great idea but...YOU MUST KEEP ALL YOUR RENTAL PAYMENT HISTORY!!!!! because Overlook will conveniently debit your account and send you a letter for non-payment and you will have to prove that you have paid them.
Winter snow removal does not exist here! Pet owners picking up pet waste does not esist here! Try calling Buckingham Companies (the property management company)good luck getting a call back.
I would not suggest Overlook to any professionals looking to rent. My suggestion is try Emerald Lakes in Greenwood. You get more bang for your buck.
