This is an update of my previous entries. So here's a bit of history. Back in 2006 (I believe), I complained angrily about the change of ownership and management at Park Central North. Around the middle of 2006, Buckingham Properties had bought Park Central North, fired a couple of beloved and effective managers of the complex, then allowed the place to go downhill for several months. Yet, in late October, 2007, I wrote here that conditions at Park Central North had improved (somewhat). However, in the last month or so, Buckingham Properties fired their own managers, who were finally doing a better job at managing the complex. Now, at the beginning of 2008, Park Central North is going downhill again!
In my opinion, Park Central North does not deserve the high ratings that it has received in the past. I suggest that persons reading this be very careful about renting an apartment owned and managed by Buckingham Properties!!!

Let me just start by saying this. I am the Manager here at Park Central North and this resident has mis-spoken on a couple of things. I would like to say that the residents most certainly did NOT have to take the initiative of forming the crimewatch. I approached one of the residents and asked if it would be something the residents would like (as I am also a resident) and she asked if SHE could get it started.
Landscaping is not inconsistant. We skipped a week on mowing the grass because of the dry conditions. Our approach was to not burn the grass anymore than it already is from the lack of rain.
If you do move-in, you will be treated with the utmost respect as our long-term resident are. As the current Manager, I would say to this resident...BEWARE of any new Manager coming in as the next one might not be as patient and understanding when the rent is CONSISTANTLY late. You know, all we care about are "policies"...the next Manager may follow the policies to the letter and charge full late fees, file for eviction and charge full court costs.
Maybe this resident should be a little more mindful of the "recent" change of Management.

Glad to read this response from the Manager. It encourages me, as a potential future resident, to consider PCN again.
