I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. Maybe just people who had one bad experience that made it feel like that's all they had' Everyone is different, so we will never know! We are just about to finish our one year lease with Pebble Point and if we didn't have to move to Terre Haute, we would DEFINITELY renew. The office staff are wonderful and always helpful. They are very kind and will talk to you if they run into you on the street somewhere (something I've NEVER experienced with landlords) and the maintenance staff is very capable. We've had everything from our back patio light go out to our water heater quit working. The second week we lived there, I had just started the dishwasher and was washing the non-dishwasher safe stuff when I heard a "pop" and then was flooded with water. Something underneath the sink that connected the dishwasher too had come apart and therefore all the running water was just running down the pipe and onto my feet and the floor. I called the maintenance staff (at eleven o clock on a Saturday night) and left a message for the emergency line. 20 minutes later two guys were at my door with buckets, towels, a mop, and pipe parts. They had it fixed before my boyfriend could even make it home to help AND cleaned up all the mess. I'm one that HATES calling maintenance when I'm home alone due to creepy maintenance men at previous rentals but at Pebble Point I never felt that way!! The parking is wonderful, the layouts are GREAT. You can fit so much stuff in these apartments! We had to buy another couch to fill the void!! I've not heard of anyone paying $1000 in rent, even their website doesn't have a place for that much.. We pay $723 for a 3 bedroom townhome. This doesn't include utilities but for 3 college students to split 3 ways.. it's quite affordable!! They have a lake for fishing, and it's a very nice country feel to it. Race weekends get a little crazy just because of traffic, and you can hear the cars on the track! But this is something that doesn't bother me, sounds just like thunder is all. My only major complaint would be that the dumpster is directly in front of our unit. Which when we moved in we thought was nice, I park right next to it and so taking the trash out isn't such a chore.... But every Monday and Thursday I am woken up at 6am but the dumpster guys. They themselves aren't loud but the dumpster and truck banging together is VERY loud! Now if you're a heavy sleeper like my boyfriend, then this won't bother you at all. haha But I'm a light sleeper and it wakes me up every time! I would suggest getting a unit not directly in front of the dumpster.
Also, about the car break ins. I had been warned by several people about this. And when you look on CrimeView Community (on the IMPD website) there are a lot of break ins in this area. I think it mostly stems from the Fishermen's Village area because we are as far away from them as a possible and there have been no issues on my side. I would just suggest common sense: lock your doors and don't leave anything valuable visible. :) I even take my CD player faceplate off for good measure!
(Noise level: there are a lot of kids in this area so when it gets warm outside you can hear them all, but it's not a nuisance type of noise!)

I am very pleasedto read this positive review. My husband and I are moving there in July. I drive thru there everyday and it is always clean and I've never seen anyone "hanging" out on the corners. I did see kids playing but that is to be expected. I'm happy to have my move in date. It really does appear to be a nice community. A co-worker of mine lives there and she likes it. She says she's never had any trouble at all.

Yes! I would definately stay there, but we have other obiligations that are taking us away from Indy. The apartments are very wonderful. I've only been disturbed in my sleep by loud people once and that's amazing for a big city! The children there are wonderful, with one or two brats. :) They are always sweet and entertaining, and they loved playing with our dog! Free dog sitting! ha! I think it'd be a great place to start a family!
