My service dog Angie and I have lived at Pickwick Farms for the last 6 years. Since Zidan Property Managment purchased it from Robert Borns Management - the difference is like Night and Day !! New roofs on each building, better physical grounds maintenace and better landscaping crews (especially since the former grounds keeper drove like a maniac with no safety gear!), new very quiet washers and dryers in laundry room, very upgraded clubhouse facilities: Beverly Hills Movie Mogul Theater room, sun tan bed, pool table, Wi-Fi, resurfaced streets and new lights. Only 1 speed bump has been installed at this writing (08/02/2008) and I must criticize and say many more are needed as people in Indiana drive way over the speed limit driving as if they are on their way to the "Last Supper" at a buffet. The summer of 2008 has been exciting at the swimming pool with the addition of a pool supervisor to make sure that adults and children alike are both well behaved. Anytime I have had any service issues they are always addressed in a timely fashion. During my residency, the staff has gotten to know me and my service dog Angie and always waves and acknowledges us - a very good neighbor policy. For the most part - I would rather live no where else except Pickwick Farms except perhaps where I moved from: on the beach in Oceanside, CA. The units are much more spacious than others I have seen in the area. In terms of complaints by other posters regarding Leasing personnel - it is amzing how EFFECTIVE "the Golden Rule" is in dealing with people in any venue: personal, social, business, professional, etc. Furthermore - it is amazing how much can be achieved with "a please" or "a thank you" !!! I have had absolutely ZERO rent increases in 6 years and just received a $250 lease renewal bonus. Pickwick Farms is an excellent value in today's budget conscious environment!
