I wish that I had seen this site before I moved in...

I have lived in Pickwick for over a year. I am not happy with the complex. The units are in extreme disrepair. The maintenance is later than promised, sometimes not showing at all. The staff are generally rude, perhaps over-worked and underpaid. I will move when I can. I feel that I made a terrible mistake in ever moving here. The weight room is unusable and they use it as a selling point. The children's pool was never opened this year. There are too many pitbulls in the complex, especially considering that they say they limit dangerous breeds. There is not any one area in which the complex excels. The water bills are astronomical and don't seem to be at all related to actual water usage. The rent paid monthly will not be what they quote you. It will probably be about ten percent more, so make sure to fit that into your budget. Most of all I am disappointed since the old manager quit. The new manager does not seem to care at all about the tenants. She is belligerent and spiteful. I would recommend that anyone looking at this site to move into the complex think again and look a little harder.

Agreed! Pickwick Place is becoming Pickwick Disgarce. They made a bad decision on replacing Mr. Baldy with Ms. Overly Cocky! My lease is up at the end of October, and I have already put in my notice. It's time for a change, my money is too important to waste on waiting to see if this new chick is going to find herself as a manager....my opinion??? We need someone who knows what they are doing, or will at least come out of her office and talk to us. The day I put in my notice, I was there and wanted a few things done before I would even think about renewing....when I asked to speak with her, I was told she was too busy and would have to come back...they never even got up to check, and when I said I would just put my notice in...they gladly took it????? How does anyone survive conducting business this way???

So, now there is a new manager. He/she has overhauled the system. There is a set charge for water/sewer based on the square footage of your unit, regardless of how many people live in your unit and how much water you use. I think that the letter was signed by a "Kitty", but the staff said "Mr. Kitty." Is that you above? Have yet to see hide nor hair of this person. This place is all about money. The change of management necessitated them charging residents for two and a half months' worth of water and sewer services for December. Is this everybody or just me? Do I sound paranoid? Just in time for the holidays. This has been a very transparent move to raise revenue. We are not stupid. We are helpless to your technically legal actions. This is no way to keep tenants and/or treat fellow human beings. The website for the parent company is is Arabic? Who owns this place? Go to this website. http://www.easytax.co.il/clients.html. Click on a few of the buttons. It's Pickwick Place, sure enough. We should all move out. Japanese cars, German stereos, Dutch beer, and now Arabian apartments.
