Riley is the 1st high rise i have ever lived in. At 1st I was a bit scared of being ont the 24th floor. But spend 1 night in a rain storm and it's AMAZING!

Also, I had a group of my friends over for the fireworks and it was a blast we sat on my balcony and had an amaing view.

Parking does cost each month but you have your own spot.

I have only needed maintenance a few times and they were pretty quick each time.

I can't say much about the staff. I leased over the phone and pay rent and communicate online for the most part. I do get a quick response when I send an email to them!

All true, but parking is a rip off. Also don't ever make a mistake paying rent on line, like I did when I mistyped my credit card #. This was my second month living in Riley, and after TEN days, they sent me notice that I had 24 hours to pay the rent via Cashier's Check, plus a $25 NSF fee PLUS $5 per day in "overdue charges" counted thru the morning of the day I received that notice. That was $70 I did not exactly have to spare in a new city. The apartments, though old, are nice, but the staff, especially on that day, is pretty rude and uncompromising, especially to a new resident. I was very disappointed and will always remember that. Also, they raised my rent and utilities my second year. Riley is a good place, but like any place, has its drawbacks. Maintenance and the view are top notch, and Indy is the best city I have lived in, and I have lived in over a dozen. Just don't think you're in downtown. It's a 25 minute walk. You're actually in the heart of the artsy theatre district, so be prepared for that element of people: counterculture liberals with dogs and loud college kids at times.

25 minute walk? In 25 mins you could walk to the RCA Dome on the opposite side of downtown and back and still have time to stop for coffee.
