I thought I might move after my 2nd lease was up and I did some internet searching. What I realized is that I have a great apartment in comparison to others. My apartment comes with a washer and dryer and a lot of places charge more for a set. The parking has never been a problem where I live. I drove through other places at night and it looked like there was no where to park if you came home after dark. My patio is huge and I guess I am now spoiled by it. Several of the other places had tiny patios. Also, what was really shocking is that several places had rude people when I went to look. I have always been treated nice by the staff at River Ridge. My rent did go up $15 when I signed a new lease but after looking around I realize that the other places in the area are even more than that and come with less. Also, I have a real woodburning fireplace that I could not find at others. They have them but they are not wood burning and again I think I am spoiled by that.
