River Road Court

We live in the largest floorplan and feel like there's plenty of space for the two of us and our cats (as far as small apartment living goes!). Maintenance is prompt, though often makeshift. We found when we moved in that much of the repair, cleaning, and painting was carelessly done. But if you ask, they will fix. My biggest praise is the space for the price. My biggest complaint is that I'm afraid to go outside at night because of safety issues. While it isn't the management's fault, this apartment community simply isn't safe. It's nice to have a washer and dryer in our apartment, and nice to have a patio, and nice that we can have our kitty cats with us. I like the river and lake and landscaping (beautiful in the spring!). We are looking into leaving when our lease is up simply for peace of mind.

huh? what safety issues have you had? I've lived here for over a year and have never had the slightest problem. I looked up the address on Indy911 and there have been 4 911 calls to the property in the last 30 days. 2 police, one fire, one medic. Not bad for a 700 unit complex. Just exactly how much safer do you want?

Theft. It was alarming getting into my car to go to work one morning (March?) and finding that someone had been in it. I think I would feel a good degree safer if the outdoor nighttime lighting were improved.
