I have been living at River Road for about 6 months now and have had nothing but problems! At first, everything was fine, but within two weeks of living there, my car was vandalised, for the first time. Now after 6 months, my car has been broken into or vandalized 4 times, my aparment actually broken into twice, and tampered with at least twice. The safety here is A JOKE. And the "security" officers... ya.. no help whatsoever. My door was KICKED in on one occassion, they wouldn't even bother to ask a neighbor if they heard or saw anything, and when mainetenace came to replace the door, the did at best, a half ass job, or redoing the lock, and at that didn't even put the chain back up. Needless to say, I don't care what they try to do to me, I am out of there!!!

For the record, the above resident is currently under eviction from our property due to non-payment and seems to be blaming River Road for her domestic problems with an ex-husband. Our records do indicate two incidents on file involving the above resident and her apartment and/or vehicle, but have no record of the additional incidents she mentions above. This resident also is failing to mention that in both reports filed that she names her ex-husband as the primary suspect, whom she has a restraining order against. When her apartment was broken into she states in the report that only one item of jewelry was taken and that she suspects her ex-husband because none of her other jewelry was taken and the item taken was kept in a place that only few people knew about. Our courtesy officers responded to both incidents and assisted this resident in every way possible and yes, neighbors were questioned by our courtesy officers in addition to the police, as police reports were made for both incidents.

Who cares who broke into her apartment or what her current status within the apartment is. I find it VERY unprofessional to list the reason why she is being evicted and the happenings between her and her ex. That should be kept off the internet. The office staff here is a joke. All they care about is making the money. Shove as many people into an apartment as they can just so they can get a rent payment. Who knew that it wasn't against the rental laws to have 6-9 people in a 2 bedroom? Seems unsafe to me! River Road is a joke!
