The apartments were previously owned by J.C. Hart and the service was FANTASTIC. Maintanence was prompt with any issues that needed taken care of. The staff was very warm and friendly and catered to your needs as best they could. Then comes Greystar. I will say that the overall look inside of the clubhouse has improved, but that's about it. I was talking to a J.C Hart staff member before the switch over about upgrading to a 2 bedroom apartment and it seemed as if everything was under way. I got the new lease on my door but my boyfriend's name wasn't on it. I requested that his name be added to the lease and I was assured no problem. I stop in the office a few weeks (now under new management) back to get an update on the lease to be told that a new one had not be written up and they knew nothing about it. They said they'd get it done. I also requested to know how much I would need to pay for the month where I'd be spending part of the month in the 1 bedroom and the other part in the 2...no response. So here I am 2 days before the new month and I stop in the office AGAIN. And AGAIN no lease has been drawn up and they act confused. They can't give me a straight answer and say they will now be charging a transfer fee and they won't be paying gas, water, trash as J.C. Hart had. Very misleading! And they STILL didn't have an answer for me about how much rent I needed to pay for the month. I got a bit upset at this point because I do live at those apartments but as far as I'm concerned, they are still providing a service and I am not a pleased customer. I was promised that I would get a call back THAT DAY by 6pm and never got the call. Big surprise. The new month starts tomorrow and I don't have a lease and I don't know how much to pay for rent. I shouldn't even have to ask let alone ask more than once to get the same issue resolved. I'm very displeased with the new management and really do wish J.C. Hart hadn't made the sale. If it wasn't so late in the game, we would change our mind about continuing to rent here.

Otherwise....the grounds are beautiful. The clubhouse is gorgeous equiped with a decent fitness center and half indoor gym. The pool and hot tub are also nice amenities. Being close to I-465 is also another bonus. There is a bit of a wasp problem however but I'm not sure if it's just maybe that my building is close to a creek' The kitchens could definitely be bigger but other areas of the apartment are workable size. I wouldn't say I recommend this place for families who need a lot of storage or room but it's great for students, couples just starting out, or singles.

I'm just crossing my fingers that this next year won't continue with the same headaches I'm already having from the new management. More organization and better communication are key. Remember that your residents are your customers and still want to be treated as such!
