I tried to give them a chance but I have to agree

I have lived at Riverchase for over 3 years. I originally lived with a roommate and when she moved out, I decided to stay because it was a great place with lots of amenities that I used regularly. I have to agree about being blindsided when ownership changed hands. After a couple weeks, several of my neighbors had complaints but I decided to reserve my judgment. But now, I have to agree with several of the comments from disgruntled residents. I have contacted the office a few times about concerns. The office staff is great at taking messages. Not so great at returning calls. My questions or concerns are always pushed off on Heather. I'm not sure what the other girls do (I agree they take personal calls while I waited to pick up a package that had been delivered to the office) but why are they being paid to take phone messages and ignore residents' I think the class that the old management had is lacking in current management. It's sad to think that this has happened in such a short time. I agree that the entry ways are disgusting. I'm ashamed for my boyfriend to come over so we hang out at his apartment in Plainfield. I wasn't planning to move when my lease was up because I only have one year of school left but I think I'm going to move in with my boyfriend. His apartment is clean and the office space is competent. Sorry, I tried to be openminded and give Greystar a chance but unfortunately, I agree with all the other reviews.

I just dont understand why they are letting some of these people in. They just throw trash on the ground and keep us all up at night with music from their cars. Also they finally came around and powerwashing the entryways and they still look horrible they just rinsed them off..... and not two hours later someone has left cigarettes receipts boxes and a trashbag and its been sitting there for a week now. These have got to be the worst managers ever! It doesnt work calling them or putting messages here so I say were start going after the company. Everyne should call and complain to Greystar!

Yes, There have been problems in the past year that alot of people dont agree with. But lets look at this from 2 different views... #1 Office/Owner-When a company or property is bought an sold its not really anyones business. No one tells you when to buy or sell a car. But as long as everyone is notified after the fact then whats the harm. I do understand that when there are new people in an office they do need to get acclimated. No matter if they have been doing the same job for 10-15 years. Also when your company is out of state and there is only one property in the state it is very diffecult to have everything done at once like trash,(Where do you think the trash comes from? Let me answer that. The residents and their guest. Its up to EVERYONE to keep their home a beautiful place to live.) An lets just say that yes you should return calls if you are the Property Manager. With all that being said I am VERY pleased to say that the TEAM that has come aboard with PMR Companies has done everything in their power to (Make Things Right!) The have worked with not only the employee's (Keeping turnover low) but they have worked with the residents. They fixed any accounting issues that were needed, cleaned up entryways, pushed through the clubhouse remodeling, worked with residents on lease renewals, and most importantly the New Property Manager does return phone calls. Don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch.
