We have lived in Riverchase for quite some time. The old staff was fantastic. They would answer any question you had, they were polite, and would fix any problem with the property. The new managment is just terrible. We have had nothing but problems from them. No one seems to know what is going on, they are all ditzy little blondes who haven't the slightest idea on how to do their job. Everyone answers to "Heather", who is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. We have called numerous times over the past few weeks, and no one will even attempt to talk to us for more than two minutes, but thats even when they decide to answer the phone. I have never recieved a return phone call from the staff since they have taken over.
Another problem I have are the new people moving in. This place has went from wonderful to just another "ghetto trash" complex. There are beer bottles all over the property, animal feces on the sidewalks, and people lighting fireworks all night long. Numerous times whenever I have left the building to go to my car, I have had groups of these "new" tenants whistle and harass me. I'd never go outside alone here at night. There are always loud partys, people knocking on your door and running off, and broken glass all around the cars. The staff have said in previous reviews that you should call them when something needs done, but how is that possible when "Heather" is never there, and no one can answer a simple question besides her. This place has just turned into complete trash, I cannot wait until I can get out of here!

I'm really sad to hear that Riverchase has gone downhill. I have friends that rented there from 2001-2004, so I practically lived there, and I did apartment sit for them quite a bit since they went out of town a lot and it was nice and I felt safe. They only moved because they bought a house.
This complex boasted a 92% approval rating until recently, and was considered one of the best apt. complexes on the westside. It seems to get a nice apt. these days you have to pay an arm and a leg (and another arm). I think it's terrible that questionable people get to come in and ruin a nice complex and the decent tenants have to pick up and move (or suffer until their lease is up) because new management does not care or has no clue. Riverchase seems to be going the way of Island Club (yes IC is much worse, but they've had bad management longer).

I've lived at RiverChase for a year now. At first I had some problems, but the old management was great in answering and solving my questions that I had. My roomate and I always paid our half of the rent seperatly and there was no problem, until these ditzy girls came and had no idea what was going on. We also couldn't pay our rent with credit cards so every month I would have to go buy a money order. Everytime I came in to ask a question the girls were on the phone chatting to their friends. I only know that because they made me sat there and wait until they were finished. Every question I had was replied with a rude comment by "Heather". There are also too many kids running around in the exercise room. Its too bad that old management left, because this was a nice apt complex.

I am truely sorry for all of the current residents that feel this way! I(Heather) would love for you to come into the office so we could correct any issues you have with the new management. We here at Riverchase want to make your stay here with us a pleasent one. Please contact the office and we could set up a time to meet. Thanks Riverchase manager!

Are you serious? No one is going to come and complain to you! Everyone wants to move out when their lease is up. If we complain what happens to our deposits? Suddenly the apartment was "damaged" and we don't get our deposits back? My problem is that no on knew that Riverchase had been sold. We went (overnight) from a caring, reliable staff to a completely new staff who doesn't have a clue as to how Riverchase used to work. The entryways are filthy. Apparently anyone can move in now. My neighbor set trash outside her apartment and it set there (smelly and disgusting) for at least 2 days. Empty (paper) coke cups sat by a parking spot for days. I noticed and I made a point to see how long they set there without someone removing them. Where is the maintance staff? Dogs poop wherever they want. It seriously has gone from a great place to live to ghettoville in a matter of 3 months. So where are all the great things they were going to do? The girls in the office literally do not have a clue. If they can't make decisions then hire someone who can. Heather, you cannot be the only person qualified to make a decision. Take heart: all these reviews that criticize your management skills cannot be wrong. Greystar can pat themselves on the back because they have managed to totally change the reputation of Riverchase in 3 months.
