And they're not even helpful. We had an issue with getting our maintenance calls answered, and it turns out that 2 out of the 3 times we called about the same issue, the office staff had 'forgotten' to write up a work order. This all resulted in mold, which we were told about by the person they had come out to fix it. Now the office staff is telling the lady at the Greystar office that there was no such thing. All I wanted in the beginning was a simple apology, but this is ridiculous. I used to recommend Riverchase to everyone, but now I'd love to broadcast how inconsiderate, rude, unhelpful and impersonal Greystar has proven.

Have you checked your mail today? Apparently Riverchase has been sold... again. It doesn't matter because we made our decision to move within weeks of Greystar's takeover, and our last day here will be 11/28. But I am curious to see if this new company can clean up the mess Greystar made, or if it will be more of the same. Or worse, god forbid.

I know the management company has changed 3 times but not sold. JC Hart sold it!!! The company that bought it hired a management company (Greystar). Which in turn was releved of their duties for the property here in Indiana. It was turned over to the NEW management company PMR Companies. An yes they have already in 4 months made this place a better, more understanding, and quite place to live. PMR works for the residents not against.

I currently live at a Greystar property and was recently locked out of my apartment on the 3rd floor patio with no phone for over two hours!! I was finally able to move the glass out of the door frame enough to unlock the door (nearly breaking my hand in the process). It had locked behind me because of a faulty locking mechanism, and this wasn't the first time that I put in a request regarding the door, it jammed in the pervious order!! This is the best part of it... property management, apparently with the support of the local regional office sent me the repair bill for when the glass company had to come out and fix the door!!! When I tried to tell her it was, break the door, or jump off the 3rd floor balcony... she explained that they were not liable due to the door having an added security feature...it was self-locking!!!! A non-keyed Self-locking sliding glass door on a third floor patio!? My friend showed my a sticker that she had on her door after the incident that warns if the door is shut hard, that it will lock...
I have formally refused to pay due to their knowledge of this problem, and requested that my entire door be replaced, along with submitting written documentation from the manufacturer of the door that they have never produced such a thing in the company's history. I cc'd the regional and corporate office in my request...If they try to back this I will lose all faith in mankind.
