Past owner was AIMCO, which did a terrible job at taking care of the resident. Situations occured like air conditioning not working for the months of June and July, restricted breeds such as German Shephards being allowed in the complex, and worst of all, neighbors not being stopped from putting barking dogs on their balconies at all hours of the night and day. I was lied to many times about how these issues were being resolved. Now Green Mountain Realty owns Salem, but I have yet to see that they truly care about residents. Infact, they have yet to honor the fact that I have been dealing with these issues for eight months, by doing what it takes to appease me and truly serve me as a resident. Their response is that they "have a waiting list." In other words, residents (people who have to LIVE with management's decisions) don't matter, because they can just get new ones.

I've had issues with management, neighbors, and building maintenance. Very recently, the new property owner and manager have been very rude and spiteful toward me. They even made a big financial "mistake" that hurt me, but refused to fix it. No one should ever be treated like I've been treated by them. I would love to find other ways to get the word out to people simply because I think people deserve a fair warning.

i live also at salem. and ive lived here for like 8 months, and i had the same air-conditioning problem u did. and let me tell ya. ive just about had with this new manaagement too. most of them are rude. and not worth my time talking too..and the maintentance. dont get me started on those perves
