I loved living in Salem Courthouse the first year I lived here (2005). Then, new management took over, and they accuse you of all kinds of stuff, leaving notes on your door telling you that you have broken lease agreements without first asking or discussing the issue to make sure you're at at fault. They started increasing fees on things that prior tenants weren't bound to with the prior management team. When they do send letters out, it's in a rude tone, and about 20 typos on the page exist every time. I think they need to go to school before they can try and run a community. Maintenence are always drunk or high on something cause they can barely speak without slurring... not to mention I had to have a replacement lock and it took the guy 2 hours to show up, then 4 trips back to wherever he had to go to get other keys that it could've been. He smelled like booze horribly. I was locked out of my apartment from 7pm, which was when I made the first emergency maintenence call... and didn't see a maintenence guy until I interrupted a prior maintenence worker that had the direct line to the maintenence guy... at 11pm after three messages and a final direct call to him, he showed up - in a half conscious state. I have seen NUMEROUS broken utilies around the community (some in which are STILL unusable to this day). This is long-winded, but I am warning anyone looking for a living arrangement, don't go here... you will regret every dollar and headache you have to put into it.
