I've only lived in Scandia 1 year, in the last week I have 2 friends who have had their apartments broken into (same day), and many valuables taken. Apparently this is a common problem in this community (told by them from the main office!! 5 have been hit in the last month with even one of the office workers own place being hit). The general quality of residents is VERY poor, kids driving around with stereos cranked up. My neighbors are the main reason I am moving out. The front office just doesn t care (they wont call you back, and the officer manager wont take calls or call you back), and the noise continues late at night. The walls of my apartment are PAPER THIN and you can hear every single foot step around or above you. The person above me has gladly taken notice on the thin floors but even their most simple footsteps are still too much. The walls are so thin, anyone walking into the main front door of my building shakes things in my apartment. I am woken up regularly by people even trying to be quiet. If you get an enclosed garage, count on it flooding whenever it rains (don t leave things on the floor). The overall quality and construction of the apartments is very poor (built in the 1970 s''). Please spend a little more money and get into a newer and nicer place.
