It's not their fault they're so horrible....I'm sure if I worked for AIMCO (the WORST apartment company EVER) I would be in a bad mood all the time too. You can't talk to these people.
I wish I would've read this site before I lived there, but now I know to never rent from another AIMCO property again. Just like several other people have said, they can be really nice when you're looking at the place and haven't moved in yet. But once you sign that lease, look out!! You are signing your life away!! They don't give two s**ts about you. All you are to them is the check you drop off every month. In the time I've lived there, I have paid REDICULOUS amounts of money to them...so much that when I add it up I'm sick to my stomach....money that could've been a down payment on a house. Yet, they still do everything in their power to get more out of you. They are crooks!!
It's too late for me, but if I can save just ONE person the MONEY I've thrown away and the HASSLES I've dealt with, it will be worth it. Please...do yourself a favor and DO NOT, under any circumstance, live at Scandia. Or any other AIMCO property for that matter. Seriously. Don't. This place is WAY overpriced and the staff is WAY rude and it's because they're in a desirable location, so they don't have to be nice because people are gonna live there anyway. They have clearly never heard of customer service-every single time I've dealt with them it's been unpleasant. Don't fall into the trap!
