I would like to anyone know who is reading these that I have lived here for quite a few years and therefore feel that I can give a pretty good testament to the reality of living here.
First off, know that they replaced EVERYONE in the office, which is fantastic and was necessary.
The ones that ignored you and talked down to you are gone, and these people seem to really be doing their best to make things right and get the job done.
As for the bugs and raccoons, I have never had a problem, and their is an exterminator that can come out at any time for no charge, this is because we have a forrest around us people! That is going to be the reality of living here, but it is worth it, at least to me and those I know who live here.
The views are peaceful with the trees, and if that means that I have to have someone spray for spiders or something, Im ok with that.
Lastly, as for the price, yes, this is the north end of town kids, they are all expensive for a reason.
If you want a cheap apartment, move to the west side.
nuff said.
If your really concerned about the place, make sure you ask to see an already empty apartment, not a model, and use your gut to tell you if you really feel like they are being fake.
You'll know the difference when you see a few places.

You are right, the current admin staff is better than the normal continual revolving door Scandia has had in admin people every three to six months for a number of years.
There are still problems with maintenance who tenants mostly deal with. They have not had a supervisor of maintenance for months now.

Agreed with 8/14 post. Maintenence seems totally clueless. Don't they have some type of training for these guys? And clearly the office staff is not doing their job if it takes months to organize a repair of an air conditioner. No one should have to live in 85 degree apartment...especially for the price you pay!
