When I lived there, there was a murder!

In the apartment right next door to us, an abusive boyfriend shot and killed his girlfriend. It happened our second week we were living there. We woke up the next morning to find cops, reporters, and a coroner's van infront of our building.

Of course, my roommate and I got the hell out of the place. We managed to move out within the 30 day grace period, but when we told managment about our concern for our safety they were so rude and didn't seem to care.

If you do searches for Scarborough Lake on-line..you'll come across news articles for murders that have happened there in the past 10 yrs or so.

There are drug dealers across the street in the other apartment who sometimes sneak in through the gates...come on, do you really think those stupid gates are going to keep strangers out''

And there was always a group of men outside at midnight in the parking lot blasting music or getting into fights.

As for all the "positive" ratings...I have a feeling they were done by management to get people to come and stay there.
