My boyfriend and me wanted to move to Indianapolis. I'm going to school and he is working. We aren't from the area at all, but found this apartment online and it looks very nice and a grat price.

We drove for about 3 hours to see this apartment, knowing that it is on the west side we kind of had a feeling that it was going to be rougher. After going into the clubhouse/leasing office, which was VERY unprofessional we heard a lady talking with a manager about how she didn't feel safe there and when she moved in all of her stuff was getting looked over. She just signed a lease the day before and felt unsafe there.

We heard this before even talking to anyone. We went outside with her and asked her about this place. She said not to live here and told us the story.

Then a few minutes later a man came in and he over hear what he had complained about. Someone had broken into his car and his apartment and stole his computer.

We then went outside and asked him about it, same thing, only he had lived there longer.

We had to wait to even be asked what we were there for, then we had a very nice man show us around. It was okay, but the sidewalks were trashed and people were just hanging around everywhere. This was also in the early morning.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS APARTMENT.
It may be cheap, but I'd rather feel safe then waking up to gun shoots or my car stolen.

WOW,it's really went downhill. We lived there in 2005 and it was prefectly fine. It was ethnic but nothing went on. Some people mentioned cockroaches on here. That's unfortunate, but we never had a problem. Worst was when the guy upstairs ran his toilet over. We really liked it and only left to buy a house. Many times we wished we'd stayed. We were gonna upgrade to the 1 bedroom with the larger nook and room for a washer/dryer hookup.
