I've lived here for about one year and am probably renewing my lease. The location is great -- walking distance to Broad Ripple, access to the Monon, close to Target, Walmart and shops on northside. The pool and grounds are well-maintained. Whenever I had a problem -- which was only maybe once with my toilet running -- the maintenance staff was very quick in responding and fixing the problem. I would recommend it if you would like to live in the Broad Ripple area and are looking for a small one-bedroom apartment. It's not tiny, but it's not spacious either.
The only complaints:
Laundry facility is not reliable. The washers are fine, but the dryers rarely do the job. I'd say, pay the bit extra cash to go up to Laundry & Tan instead of using the facility here.
I noticed over time that when they repainted before I moved in, that they painted over nails, hooks and dried clumps of paint. This might just be expected in an older apartment, and it's not really that noticeable to anyone unless you're looking for it.
As far as the person who said this is a place to live if you want to party, that's not true. I rarely ever hear my neighbors. This is a pretty good place to live, and most of hte residents seem to be young/new professionals.
