Myself and my roomate moved into Spyglass Apartments in August. Upon our walk through, we noted several issues which needed repair. These issues included a broken screen in the master bedroom, a tore up floor in the washer/dryer area, and a warped board under the kitchen sink which needed replaced. Other than that, everything else was satisfactory. The carpet was in great condition. Upon our move in, we found the carpet to be totally dirtied. When asked about what happened, the leasing agent informed us that maintenance came in to "touch up" the place and that they got the carpet dirty. We we assured it would be cleaned. All these repairs were promised to us in August. It is now March of the following year and we are still in the process of trying to get repairs done. We have tried on numerous occasions to get in contact with the office, but every time we talk to them, they don't know what issues we are referring to. We have even spoke to AIMCO Corporate and we found out that work orders put in at the corporate level were closed out and not completed. We have been basically harassed by the management at the office, with everything from bogus noise complains to having a Sheriff come to my door and relay a message that I was being threatening and that I was not on the lease. Who is or is not on the lease is confidential information and should not be shared with anyone. For your information, I WAS in fact, on the lease but apparently I am not allowed to contact our office anymore. I assume it is because the management does not want to deal with the issues we have put in front of them. In any case, I strongly suggest that anyone interested in living at Spyglass or any AIMCO community to look elsewhere before making a decision.
