Overall, I like this place. The area is borderline shady, but I like being close to downtown. Even though the area isn't great, the building itself feels very safe. All the other tenants are very friendly, the parking lot is gated (with assigned spots for everyone), and I have never seen someone inside that didn't belong. I live on the 1st floor and have very large windows, which makes the electric bill pretty steep in the winter (about $100). The apartment manager always answers the phone when I call, and is willing to handle any problems I have had. As for the "weird" notes left everywhere, he is just trying to let the tenants know what is going on in the building. The laundry room ticks me off sometimes, since there are not that many machines and the dryers suck. It seems like I'm pointing out a lot of negatives, but I'm just trying to be honest. I do like this place, and I plan to renew my lease later this year.
