Apt complex is approx. 6 years old. They have a very nice looking exterior facade ( brick, modern) but inside the space is somewhat unusable and does not seem to equal what is claimed on the layout pamphlets.

After you are there awhile and the novelty wears off, you see that it is really just another apt (on the inside) with cheap cabinets, etc. it is nosy also because the jet airplanes come in for landing right over the top steeple chase apts at 5am and beyond at approx altitude of 1000 feet. Then there is constant noise from some other building in the area.

They will do everything they can to get you to sign a year long lease, this is because once you do they will not let you out of it. They put the dollar amount in the lease. So you might get stuck paying the whole amount. This is okay if it is a corporate rental and the company is footing the bill, you however might be stuck with a $10k bill. A lot of this is standard however most outfits will let you out of the lease in the Indy area.

If you hold your guns, and get a six month lease then it will costs you $50 a month more, then when the 6 months is up (and by law the lease should transition into a month to month agreement), they will raise the $50 dollar fee to $100 a month, and the rent will go up too. So a 1 1/2 bedroom place will cost you close to $1k a month.

Anything extra, small storage locker- another $40, garage- $100. No carports.

And this is all in a depressed market whne other outfits are up to $300 a month cheaper. You can rent 2bdrm duplexes with more room, a garage, yard and so on for $650 to $750 if you look around. The lessors are much more flexible also.
