Stone Ridge Apartments

Staff are Rude and Crooks! Don't live here! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/26/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2006   I have lived in this apartment complex for 4 years - paying my rent early every month, and being an ideal tenant. I moved out this month and left the apartment spotless. However, after move out they told me that they had inspected the apt and were going to charge me for cleaning. When asked what was dirty they told me that a lampshade hanging in the dining area had dust on it, the bath had limescale in it, the windows were dirty and they found dog hair on the side - I had a dog when I moved in four years ago (and hence it was on the lease that I had one)but have not had a dog in the apt for three years, therefore this is a total lie. When I challenged them about this, Donna, the staff member I spoke to, was EXTREMELY RUDE and aggressive. She basically said that it was tough if I disputed any charges because they would take the money out of my deposit and I had no come-back. I am speaking to lawyers about this, and what they are doing is illegal. I advise that you stay well away and save yourself the hassle.
