Stay away from this place. There has been a total of 6 first floor robberies in the past two months. If you care about your things you will not live here. They are poorly managed and the staff changes every other month. They need full time security with the amount of robberies that happen at this place.
Update: Make that 10 first floor robberies. Three more happened recently.

I do agree with you 100%. I check crime regularly and was concerned about the break ins as well. But there was also a string the occurred several months ago-I had to check on my own to find out. I was shocked to find out. That (at least used to be) is a rare thing to happen here. Most places will send notices to residents keeping them informed-but not here.
I do agree that they are poorly managed, but if there is any turnover in staff that needs to be happening, it is the manager herself, Amee Snipes, as I have seen the place go downhill consistently since her arrival. Her poor management has also driven out good tenants, which I think only further compounds the problem (of issues such as crime).
Apparently, she has some sort of mental condition and she is not mentally fit for the job, but they feel sorry for her or something of that nature. I think the writer in the post on 12/3/2007 (Beware of -------- Manager) said it all. Also, someone mentioned something about a personal safety issue that occurred because of her actions-wouldn't be surprised if she even contributed to making an apartment easier to break into by giving out information, etc.
I suggest you start contacting Corporate with all your concerns, because you will never get a returned call from anyone else. I've called a couple of times and they seemed to be both very concerned, surprised, and disappointed at what was going on at the front office. Buckingham Companies can be reached at 974-1234 and would be more than happy to hear about your concerns.

As a resident here as well I can see your concerns. The office did however send out a flyer about a crime watch meeting. I was one of the few people that attended. In fact I think only a total of 6 people attended. So is it the office that doen't care or is it simply us?
