I have lived at Sundance for nearly four months and have very mixed opinions of the facility, and I will not renew lease or refer anyone. First off, the location of the complex is very, very convenient. There are many restaurants, steakhouses, department stores, and other miscellaneous facilities within 1-2 miles. They offer a pool, fitness room, and hot tub. All very convenient. The grounds of Sundance and the surrounding community are well kept and maintained. During the summer months their are many people working on the landscape making it a very attractive place when looking from the outside in. However, don't let the attractive outside and local convenience fool you into thinking the entire facility is glamorous. Within two days of moving in to my apartment carpet stains began resurfacing and now four months later *yuck*. The stains are huge!! Bugs, were a problem for me also. But I brought this to the attention of the staff and the apartment was sprayed within 24 hours. That was the only time the staff has been prompt with any issues that I brought to their attention. Noise is somewhat a problem. It is not because of other tenants, it is because of the relative location to the interstate. My suggestion would be to erect sound damping walls along the edge of the property or alongside the edge of the interstate to make it a much quiter community. Maybe reaching a little, but the sound can be quite irritating. My internet has been down for three weeks, still no service person. I've called every day for two weeks now, and nothing! Their response was that they have only ONE internet person who services all of their properties. I'm not sure how many properties they have, but this complex alone has 100 apartments! You can't get service from anyone else, but Sundance. The television channels are hit and miss during the day, everyday. The microwave was throwing sparks when cooking, it took the staff 1 week to replace. The staff is a joke! Everytime I go into to talk to them about an issue or whatever, they tear a piece of paper in half to write notes on. What kind of business uses scrap pieces of paper to write notes on to their manager or the rest of the staff' I'll tell you, a very unprofessional and mismanaged business! There is potential for this complex to provide a better living area, but I don't see it in the near future with the staff they have.
